Crawford’s Home Furnishings is a family-owned business that is proud to call Central Illinois home. For years, Dean Crawford had a flooring installation business and in 1972, Dean and his son, Dennis, expanded the business into a retail store. Local residents Aaron and Veanna Thum purchased the business in 2014. Located at 17 South 1st Avenue in Canton, the business is now a full-service home furnishings store, offering just about every product and service for your home decorating needs.
Paint. Crawford’s carries the highly-rated Benjamin Moore brand in a large variety of finishes. They can also custom match any paint color from samples brought in by customers, even if they are from other paint brands
Flooring. The company offers the traditional of carpet, hardwood, linoleum and tile. They also have added newer products like luxury vinyl planking, water-proof laminate, and more to accommodate busy homeowners who need waterproof/water resistant flooring for an active lifestyle. Unlike many home furnishing stores, the company has its own experienced installers. Crawford’s provides a complete experience from measuring, estimating cost, ordering the product and installing. Estimates are free. Crawford’s also has a large selection of carpet in stock to choose from for the customer who need a quicker turn-around.
Countertops. Crawford’s offers a vast array of choices in laminate and quartz counters. Veanna Thum noted that laminate has changed dramatically in the past few years, improving greatly in quality and appearance, while offering a budget-friendly price point. Quartz is a higher-end finish that does not require periodic sealing, and has the durability and attractiveness of granite. Estimates are free.
Furnishings and Home Décor. Sofas, loveseats, chairs, recliners, lift chairs, dining room sets, bedroom suites, coffee tables, end tables, consoles for storage or TVs and more can be found at Crawford’s. In addition, the store offers decorative accessories, lamps, mirrors and wall art to finish out any room in the house. While furniture can be purchased off the showroom floor, Crawford’s can also customize a furniture piece with a different fabric and features that fits the customer’s needs. Delivery for special orders usually takes 6-8 weeks.
Mattresses and Box Springs. Crawford’s offers Englander mattresses and box springs in a variety of styles and firmness, as well as adjustable beds. They are excited to be soon expanding their bedding department to include products from noted Eastman and Hemingway brands.
Free Delivery. Delivery within Fulton County is free, and they will take away mattresses, box springs and the old furniture when leaving at no additional charge.
Price Matching. Crawford’s will happily do its best to match or beat quotes from other stores on same brand items.
