Water Main Project Scheduled to Begin October 6

Construction on the West Maple/Hickory Water Line Replacement project is set to begin Monday, October 6.   Crews will be replacing the water line from S. Avenue D near the Canton Park District offices, to W. Maple Street, to W. Hickory Street, and ending near Skateland.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area over the coming months as there will be heavy construction, congestion, and delays at times. 

Phase One from Avenue D to Hickory Street is expected to continue into December.  Phase Two from Hickory Street to near Skateland will then follow, weather pending.
