The City of Canton will begin the Leaf Pick-up Program starting Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

Please place leaves on the terrace where possible.  Please do not put any leaves in the street. We will pick up leaves, weather permitting, until the first snow. And please do not call for special pick ups. Crews do not have time to stray from the schedule.

The pick up schedule uses the garbage routes to define the five areas of town.

This year, the City is trying a new schedule, which should let residents in all parts of town to have equal opportunities to have leaves picked up. In the past, the Friday route didn’t get leaves collected until December.

The schedule is as follows:

Nov. 1-3 Monday and Friday routes

Nov 6-10 Tuesday and Thursday routes

Nov. 13-17 Wednesday route

Nov. 20-24 Monday and Friday routes

Nov. 27-Dec1 Tuesday and Thursday routes

Dec. 4-8 Wednesday route
