Canton Main Street E-blasts
Monthly E-blast sent via email, and posted on the CMS Facebook page and website. CMS can advertise your business or organization’s news, offers, deals, discounts, or events in the E-blast.
Canton Main Street Spotlight
A business or organization spotlight. Being a member enters you in a chance to be selected for our spotlights. Spotlights receive an article and photo posted on CMS Facebook page, are included in the CMS monthly E-blast. Articles and photos are also sent to local and regional newspaper and news outlets.

Business or organization post shares and highlights. CMS will share your businesses or organization’s news, offers, deals, discounts, or events on our Facebook page.
Canton Main Street Micro-Grant Program
To help entrepreneurs take steps to open new businesses in the downtown and to help business owners improve or expand existing businesses, Canton Main Street provides several $1,500 grants, when funding is available.
Event Sponsor Opportunities
Glacial Golf – Second Saturday in February (Fundraising Event)
- A progressive putt-putt golf tournament at the local bars that draws 400+ players to the downtown and outlying establishments.
- If your business or organization provides greenskeepers to help keep team scores, you will have a table at a bar location to promote your business and services.
Farmer’s Market – Every Saturday, June through September
- A weekly market with local producers selling produce, fruit, herbs, baked goods, flowers and more.
- Sponsorship of the Farmer’s Market helps to provide live music, kid’s activities, and complimentary coffee.
Art on Main Fine Arts Festival -First Full Weekend in June (Fundraising Event)
- Showcases art work from some of the best artists in our region along with local musicians and wine.
- Sponsorship levels are available up to $1,000 in cash donations, in-kind donations of services or materials, or donations of special gift items to a Silent Auction.
Kids Fest – A Saturday in July.
- Themed kids event with local businesses and agencies providing free games and craft projects for children.
- Setting up a booth with an activity puts you in a positive light. Monetary sponsorships help with supplies to decorate the park and provide extra activities per the theme.
Old Fashioned Christmas Walk – First Friday in December
- Holiday event in the downtown, with carriage rides, trolley rides and businesses and organizations offering special sales or refreshments at their establishments.
- Decorate your business window, host an Elf on the Shelf or a musician in your store, and welcome new and returning customers with Christmas cheer.
