E. Howard & Co. was an American horology firm renowned for producing high-quality pocket watches and clocks, founded in 1858 by Edward Howard in Roxbury, Massachusetts. The clock with time stamp capability is encased in a free-standing wooden box with four top finials. It was supposedly a means to log safety checks as they were completed at the International Harvester-Canton Plant. The piece was donated by the Ted and Martha Strode family, Douglas and Gayle Blodgett.
