NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of Canton, Illinois that the tentative annual budget for fiscal year beginning May 1, 2024 and ending April 30, 2025 will be on file and conveniently available for public inspection at the City Clerk’s Office, 2 North Main Street, Canton Illinois from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. beginning on or before the 3rd day of April, 2024. A copy will also be available on the City of Canton’s website at www.cantonillinois.org. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that a public hearing on said tentative annual budget will be held at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd day of April, 2024 at 50 N. 4th Avenue, Canton, IL 61520. All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing and be heard. Written comments shall be submitted to the City Clerk, 2 N. Main Street, Canton, IL 61520 (or via e-mail to awalters@cantoncityhall.org) and received by 5:00 p.m. on April 22, 2024 in order to be considered at the public hearing.
