The Canton Fire and Police Commission is accepting applications for new firefighters to create a hiring list for the Canton Fire Department.

The application packet can be downloaded to print, complete, and return here.

Applications can also be picked up in the Mayor’s Office, 2 N. Main Street, M-F from 8am – 5pm.

Application deadline is Friday, May 29, 2026 and can be mailed or delivered in person, or can be emailed to ckohler@cantoncityhall.org.

Testing will be conducted on Saturday, June 13 beginning at 8:00am at the Canton Fire Department. This will consist of a written exam and an oral interview.
