Fire Prevention

The Canton Fire Department provides a wide variety of information to people both in order to prevent property damage, injury and loss of life from the ravages of fire, and to educate our citizens about what we do. Groups are welcome to make appointments to visit the station. We will also come to your location, within the city limits of Canton, to present programs about any subject for which we provide coverage. Please call the Fire Department at 309-647-0040 to arrange an appointment.

Fire Safe House

The Canton Fire Department Safe House is utilized in teaching proper fire prevention throughout the year at the Canton elementary schools, the Friendship Festival, and at the Canton Fire Department. The Fire Safe House is used each year for fire prevention at Canton Schools. It is an excellent tool the second-grade students use to learn about fire safety.
