Centennial Medal — Canton, Illinois.
During Canton’s Bicentennial, the 1925 Time Capsule was opened and 114 items revealed. They include histories of pioneer families and civic organizations, photos and biographies of prominent people, photos and descriptions of the 1925 Centennial Celebrations, as well as publications, books and newsletters of the period.
The contents are on display at the Canton Area Heritage Center, 111 South Main. The Centennial medal pictured here was sold or given as a keepsake.
