Centennial Medal — Canton, Illinois. During Canton’s Bicentennial, the 1925 Time Capsule was opened and 114 items revealed. They include histories of pioneer families and civic organizations, photos and biographies of prominent people, photos and descriptions of the 1925 Centennial Celebrations, as well as publications, books and newsletters of the period. E. Howard & Co. was an American horology firm renowned for producing high-quality pocket watches and clocks, founded in 1858 by Edward Howard in Roxbury, Massachusetts. The clock with time stamp capability is encased in a free-standing wooden box with four top finials.
